My client, based in Wollongong, has started a new large program of work. As a result a number of new roles have been created, one of which is for a Solutions Architect.
 
This is a key role and the successful candidate will be offered a 6 month contract with the possibility of extensions.  

The role will involve: 

• Organising the development effort of the overall systems solution - integration of hardware, software and other research devices
• Transforming and managing the business requirements identified, into a set of practical deliverables that can be installed & implemented
• Liaison between the needs of the organisation and the systems engineers to ensure appropriate set up and timely installation of the solution
• Provision of quality assurance for services within solution area
• Working with ITS, PM, and other areas of the business to ensure that what is being delivered will work and work as expected

The rate on offer is up to $900 per day depending on suitability and experience. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a successful track record of solutions architecture within medium to large organisations, where the role has involved a combination of technical and business skills. In addition to having demonstrable experience to perform the duties above, you must have excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
