This organisation is currently in projects to implement the SAP Enterprise Learning Management Solution and SAP Supplier Relations Management (SRM) with a SAP add-on and BusinessObjects Xcelsius. You will be required to provide technical support for versions SAP ECC6.0 and SAP BI 7.0 and to undertake Business as Usual and project work. This role will be within the EST SAP Maintenance and Support Team, which provides production system support for SAP and ESS; this includes the administration, monitoring and maintenance of the systems, evaluating and implementing updates from the vendor, managing and implementing customisations as required. As the SAP BI Configurer, you will: - Support the SAP environment
- Provide SAP architectural services for the EAP suite of products
- Provide high level SAP BI configuration and integration skills
- Ability to transfer skills and knowledge to less experienced team members
To be successful in the role, you have: - Proven experience and expertise in SAP BI design and programming skills
- Understanding of the integration of SAP BI Configuration with ABAP customisation
- Ability to provide high level advice and assistance in the support of a large SAP landscape, including SAP ESS/MSS, SAP Web Application Server, SAP BI, SAP Internet Transaction Server and SAP Enterprise Portal (including SAP Workplace)
- Experience in a range of BI tools such as Cognos, BEX Reporter, BusinessObjects Xcelsius
- Experience in a SAP landscape which includes Supplier Relations Management (SRM) would be an advantage
- Experience in the maintenance and management of a large SAP landscape in a SQL 2005/Windows 2003 landscape is an advantage
- Experience producing technical documentation
- Excellent communication skills - ability to work with the business, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and System testers to develop software solutions
- Ability to meet deadlines, provide technical advice and solutions and mentor teams, including the ability to negotiate and mediate as required
