Our client is looking for 2 suitably skilled Solaris Systems Administrators to work on major projects around the installation and configuration of Solaris and/or specified infrastructure components such as operating systems, databases, networks and business applications.

As the Solaris Systems Administrator you will be responsible for the following:
-Installation and configuration of Solaris and other infrastructure components (operating system, database, network, business applications) using standard techniques.
-Provides onsite administration of Sun and other environments, including technical support, complying with operational guidelines.
-Provide basic administration of the Solaris operating system and specified components

Skills and experience required:  
-Able to configure networks, including understanding the backup and recovery for the Solaris operating system using system tools.
-Experience reconfiguring Solaris operating systems.
-Basic installation and configuration of disk systems with Solaris.
-Able to design and develop basic Shell Scripts.
-Good knowledge of Unix commands and editors.
