Our client is a well known organisation and they require experienced Senior Network Engineers for large scale network environments.

The Senior Network Engineer roles are to develop and implement network designs, strategies and solutions. The results of these strategies and solutions should contribute to a superior level of service delivery and network availability.

The key accountabilities include
Provide specialist level network and security design and technical solutions to achieve outstanding levels of delivery
Contribute to the design of robust, scalable networks that reach availability levels that meet or exceed SLA obligations
Develop project briefs and proposals in line with technical and business requirements and take responsibility for their implementation.
Regularly advise project stakeholders on technical matters, (issues & risks) and project status.
Create and maintain documentation to ensure operational and project activities are accurately documented.
Perform operational and project activities within service management guidelines (eg change, incident, problem and capacity management).
Provide high level advice to assist team members and colleagues in dealing with complex technical support issues

Key Selection Criteria
Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing large, complex network environments.
Specialist level knowledge of complex network design incorporating virtualisation, MPLS, Firewalls, Load Balancers/reverse Proxy services/Forward Proxy services, highly available solutions and IP MAN.
Demonstrated experience in participating in significant project delivery.
Sound understanding of project governance and management.
Experience working with ITIL aligned processes (Incident, Problem, Change and Release).
Excellent verbal and written communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
