Program Coordinator (C4)

Our client is seeking a Program Coordinator for an initial 6 months to join a Business Division of a major Communications Company.

Position works within the Delivery Team and assists and controls the efficient delivery, of programs or projects within the Business Division.

Program coordination responsibilities:

  • creation, updating, and coordination of single and multiple schedules using MS Project,
  • follow up of actions, risks, and issues,
  • meeting coordination, including agendas, minutes, room bookings, A/V availability and operation,
  • attendance at project meetings,
  • assist  with financial management of projects, including actual spending and forecast spending, and funding submissions,
  • provide assistance, or run, certain workshops or meetings,
  • generally support multiple programs with tasks delegated by the Program Manager (PM),
  • provide some administration support to program delivery,
  • deputise for the Program Manager for short durations.

Project control responsibilities:

  • controls tasks, resources, planning, budgets,
  • controls the program core team,
  • controls compilation and agreement of scope, quality plans, risks and issues,
  • controls communication and  reporting of status,
  • arranges for financial submissions to be compiled and approved,
  • ensures that liaison with external parties is carried out to effectively support the project plan.

Other generic responsibilities:

  • Facilitates timely and accurate status reporting of programs for the Business
  • Assists in supporting the Product Delivery methodology and Change Management Process.
  • Supports Program Managers in the delivery of programs.

To be successful in this role you should have

  • Previous experience in a Program Office environment
  • Basic knowledge of project development life cycles
  • Proficient in PC desktop packages, including MS Office, MS Project
  • Good organisation skills
  • Problem analysis and solving skills
  • Sound communication skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Awareness of financial analysis and reporting

This role is paying from $480 - $520 per day including super + GST.
