Agile Portfolio Manager

If this sounds like you and you are interested in having a lead role in the Vix Portfolio Management Office, responsible for the successful development and implementation of Vix’s Strategic Portfolio, we have a new Agile Portfolio Manager role for you.

It’s based in our PMO and will be responsible for embedding our new way of working across the portfolio, transforming how we work and driving collaboration to ensure we deliver on our objectives.

We have developed a “Pace Delivery Model” which underpins our new way of working. It leverages Agile methods to enable greater visibility, insights and collaboration which will enable better decisions and predictable outcomes. This will ensure that as an organisation we deliver better value to our customers across our Strategic Portfolio.

We currently have projects in the US, Canada, Europe and across the APAC region, so your stakeholders will be based in a variety of time-zones. You will have to be able to communicate clearly to enthuse people about the new model. It would help you greatly if you have worked as an Agile coach in a complex technology environment with long running programmes of work. It would be ideal if this was in a global organisation.

You must have a thorough understanding of Agile project management techniques and methods. If you have previous experience as a scrum master, this would be ideal.

Finally, we are looking for someone who has experience leading process workshops, compiling associated training materials and delivering training.

You might be required to travel to some of our sites but we do not envisage this being more than 2 – 3 trips per year.
