A bit about your role
The Business Process Security Specialist reports to the Senior Business Security Manager and will be required to work closely with the Security Group and various critical process owners to support the development of security processes and assess critical business processes to identify potential security risks or required interlocks and lead the definition of mitigation strategies.

This role is accountable for:

  • Support the development and management of security group end-to-end security processes
  • Business Process Excellence management of the Security Strategy, Architecture and Consulting team processes
  • Assessing nbn's critical business processes from end to end, identifying potential security risks and leading the definition of mitigation strategies based upon the application of Security patterns.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in the development of relevant patterns, in the absence of a pattern fitting the situatio
  • Developing and maintaining trusted relationships with key business stakeholders
  • Working in a highly collaborative manner with the Security Architecture, Security Consulting and Security Confidence & Risk teams.

A bit about you
In this role, the Business Process Security Specialist will have exceptional time management skills to manage team demands within required timeframes and work within a highly collaborative working environment, where all security stakeholders are engaged. This will require strong Consulting and Stakeholder Management experience, along with the ability to deal with ambiguity and recommend solutions.

As the Business Process Security Specialist, a technical understanding of security threats, trends and security standards would be beneficial.
In addition to these skills:

  • Experience in security governance, risk and compliance in large technical diverse organisations would be ideal
  • Experience with process modelling tools such as Signavio
  • Any Industry recognised security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM
  • Business Analyst certification such as CBAP or equivalent or Lean Six Sigma certifications with Black Belt level preferred
  • Experience with control frameworks such as ISO27000
  • Experience with developing stakeholder relationships and overseeing the delivery of security solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
