What you’ll do

As a Security Analyst in ISTG you will be involved in the compliance and risk identification process, conducting security risk assessments of critical systems, applications and infrastructure, conducting compliance assessments as part of the ISMS. You will work closely with Regulatory, Audit, Technology and other business units to formulate responses to assessments.

You will proactively promote a culture of security best practice and you will contribute to implementation and adoption of security policies. You will bring an ability to influence and a desire to collaborate across all areas of Technology. You will help to drive a consistent approach to security, you will have had exposure to complex, multi-stakeholder regulated environments.

You will be involved in the management, monitoring and continual improvement of an Information Security Management System which is complaint with, and certified to, a recent version of AS/NZS 27001, as well as our maintaining our obligations under PCI-DSS and the Australian Privacy Principles

What you’ll bring

• experience implementing, maintaining and improving information security management systems, based on security standards such as ISO27001, PCI-DSS (mandatory)
• Experience and understanding of security assurance and controls testing, risk assessments, security best practice and practical application of security controls in an enterprise environment
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills, excellent stakeholder management skills, as a trusted advisor, you will champion security awareness across the business
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or PCI DSS QSA (desirable)
