Customer Support Officer (Information Technology) - Council

Level 1 Service Desk Officer to provide phone support, imaging and deployment of PC's/laptops and IOS devices via Intune.

Allstaff Australia are seeking applications from experienced Customer Support Officers for a role with a North Brisbane Council for a 6 month contract.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and process routine incoming help desk requests and provide phone support
  • Provide administrative support to council's information technology systems
  • Understanding of networking including but not limited to switches, routers, patching, DHCP and VPN
  • Imaging and deployment of PC's/laptops and IOS devices via Intune
  • Provide after-hours remote and on-site assistance through the mandatory participation in the on-call roster

Work experience and skills:

  • Demonstrated relevant experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated computer literacy not limited to Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Citrix, Active Directory, Apple OS and Microsoft Exchange
  • Understanding of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) principles and practices
  • Well developed people and relationship skills with the demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent time management skills

Essential qualifications:
Certificate II in Information Technology or relevant field
Current C class driver's licence
