Responsible for a set of products and services, they get to know their portfolio inside and out. Our Inside Sales teams rely on them for technical advice during the sales process. They directly advise customers on everything from product features and configurations, through to pricing and availability. Crucially, however complex the question, they’re ready to deliver technical solutions to meet customers’ needs via phone, chat, web or email.
Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving both revenue and margin quota
  • Drives strategic account management and pipeline development of the Partner Software business, leveraging an account planning approach to both new and existing customers
  • Working in conjunction with various retention and acquisition sales teams, you will build, grow and manage the software subscription and Volume licensing sales pipeline, ensuring accuracy via CRM/SFDC
  • Initiates and supports collaboration with all Dell teams ( e.g. core sales, sales operations and Services) to solve customers’ business issues.

Essential Requirements

  • Relevant sales experience – preferably in B2B with large and complex organizations across both Corporate and Public Sector organizations
  • Experience with Microsoft Volume Licensing and Microsoft Cloud Subscription Programs
  • Previous experience in vendor/distributor reseller engagement
  • Highly collaborative and consultative with extended team member community
  • Experience driving sales forecast, reporting, projections
  • Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and in writing.
  • Degree educated or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of relevant IT sales, experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience in reselling software vendor licensing solutions. E.g. Redhat, McAfee, Symantec, Quest, Autodesk, Adobe, Citrix, VMware, as well as other emerging SaaS solutions
  • Strong, proven track record of consistently holding or exceeding quota using a consultative/solution selling approach, focused on solving customer problems.
  • Ability to influence broader generalist sales community supported by proven examples
