An opportunity exists for a forward thinking, customer - centric, ICT savvy and empowering leader who can take the team into the future. As the Executive Director of Integration and Enabling Technologies, you will lead a team of approximately 250 staff in the provision and delivery of Whole of Government services including, cyber security, connectivity, platforms and integration. Strong focus on customers and partnering with Queensland Government agencies to deliver ICT solutions that meet the needs of Queenslanders will be a heavy focus of this role.


This role reports directly to the Deputy Director General and plays a key role in supporting Government's vision of a digitally enabled and responsive government. Service delivery is at the forefront of this role and continuing to deliver trusted and reliable services to 99.9% availability will be critical.


Other responsibilities of this role include:



  • Leading and cultivating an engaged, empowered and flexible ICT workforce with the agility to readily respond to changing imperatives

  • Providing strong technical leadership in the provision and delivery of whole of government ICT services

  • Maintaining strong and collaborative partnerships with industry, other government agencies and internal stakeholders

  • Building collaborative teams to identify and progress whole-of-Government ICT opportunities and synergies

  • Driving innovation, efficiency, effectiveness and productivity towards the future directions
