Recognising Technology as a critical investment for the business, our client is seeking an experienced Enterprise Infrastructure Engineer with intimate back-office on-premise Infrastructure capabilities. You will be joining a collaborative and client-focused team who are working together to employ next generation technology to drive business performance.

Description

As part of a company wide IT transformation, you will play an integral role reporting into the Infrastructure Manager responsible for high level design, engineering, monitoring and support of all network related and Infrastructure systems. You will be heavily involved in a local Data-centre uplift encompassing all facets of a hardware and software refresh including but not limited to: virtualistion migration, hyper-converged vSAN upgrade, network switch remediation, security endpoint implementation and delivery.

You will demonstrate strong attention to detail while delivering and optimising enterprise grade solutions as required by the business. You will also be afforded the opportunity to mentor some junior staff to assist with standard operational BAU tasks in what will be required as part of this transformational journey.

Profile

The successful applicant will come with　demonstrable experience across the following:

• • Advanced Windows Server administration skills - Server 2008/12/16 and SQL Server
  • Experience supporting enterprise server hardware - Dell and/or HP blade chassis, servers and storage
  • Installation and configuration of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
  • Strong virtualisation experience across VMware ESXi 6.x and/or Hyper-V
  • Project delivery experience in the support or upgrade of Data-centre Infrastructure
  • Appetite　to work with hyper-converged (HCI) technology and hybrid cloud solutions - VMware vSAN or Nutanix
  • Interest in Security remediation and risk mitigation as it relates to Infrastructure
  • Any exposure or experience across Office 365 and Azure is favourable but not mandatory
  • Advanced communications and written skills are a must
