Working for this well-known Melbourne organisation as IT Change & Release Manager you will approve, low-risk changes and convene the Change Advisory Board (CAB) to discuss the higher risk changes, where appropriate, and make the decision either to implement or reject the change.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain leading IT Change & Release Management processes
- Lead the development of enterprise Change and Release management policy
- Accountable for maintaining the integrity of all IT system environments by ensuring strict release and change processes are followed by development and support teams throughout the release cycle
- Chair IT Change Advisory Board and IT Release Advisory Board meetings
- Leadership for all Change Management activities, to include new business planning, Change Advisory Board (CAB)
- Review and assess IT changes across multiple IT platforms and technologies
- Work collaboratively with change owners to ensure the impacts of changes to any of the components supporting enterprise applications are understood and managed to maintain defined service levels
Skills and experience
- Proven experience working in a large, complex technical technology environment
- Expert knowledge of ITIL Change Management
- Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to influence and advise senior managers and executives.
- Ability to facilitate and chair pre CAB and CAB meetings
- Expert communication and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- ITIL V3 Certification
- Experience with ServiceNow highly regarded
