Our client is a market leading wholesale/retail brand currently undergoing a technology refresh programme. Due to an internal promotion the organisation is now seeking a IT Operations Manager to re-align infrastructure delivery.

The Role

The core focus of this position is to modernise service delivery across the organisation. This includes reviewing the current structure, identifying new infrastructure delivery opportunities and creating a service catalogue. This role will also see you review and refresh the current service delivery tools and implement incident, problem and change management processes. Managing a team of 10 infrastructure specialists, you will mentor, coach and guide the team, identifying any skills gaps.

Key skills required include:

• 10+ years experience within the IT sector
• Extensive experience as a Service Delivery Manager or Infrastructure Operations Manager
• Previous experience improving service delivery functions
• Retail experience
• Planning and delivery of major infrastructure projects
• Development and management of IT SLAs
• Experience managing teams of up to 10
• Strategic planning and budgeting
• Engagement and management of IT vendors
• Systems monitoring and assessment
• Systems support and coordination
