Our Federal Government client is looking for two APS 6 Java Developers to onboard for a 12 month fixed term.

Your new company
This Federal Government Client is the independent statistical agency of Australia.

Your new role
You will be working on a large scale project set to release in 2021 and work in a team of IT professionals to develop critical enumeration operations and management system. You will be undertaking research and design technology solutions for the business. You will also be required to develop and test the automation and deployment of these applications through DevOps practices.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need the following to succeed;

• A minimum of 3 years experience as an Enterprise Java Application Developer
• Tertiary qualification in IT or equivalent
• Experience in working with Oracle Relational data model, Querying data using SQL and PL/SQL and Hibernate ORM
• Experience working with Spring Framework
• Java Web services development REST, SOAP
• Experience with automation tools for Continuous Integrations and Continuous Deliveries (CI/CD)
