The role combines all your current experiences to drive new Maximo business development opportunities under the IBM Smarter Planet initiative and to develop ongoing client relationships.

Ideally you will have a proven implementation track record as a Maximo SME on full lifecycle projects with outstanding client / project references and be able to hit the ground running as a confident and professional communicator who prides themselves on helping clients realise the value of a successful Maximo implementation.

As the ideal Project Manager you will have the following:

• Expert Asset Management expertise is essential combined with a deep knowledge of the Maximo portfolio (8+ years). Specific industry domain expertise is also desirable.
• Proven end to end Maximo Project Management responsibilities
• Business development activities are desirable
• Good track record of managing client relationships
• Strong communication skills
• Strong Maximo skills in analysing requirements and building solutions
• Ability to articulate the solution to the client in line with their objectives
• Specific knowledge of the PMI Process Groups; initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing.
• Engaged as a professional who guides others and drives negotiation and analysis and/or acceptance of changes within the project.
• Anticipates potential project related problems. Utilizes refined techniques for identifying, eliminating or mitigating solution, project, and business risk.
• Works primarily at customer locations, frequently exposed to demands of travel and irregular work hours.
• Defines and decides objectives related to the project or segment of a large complex project from a cost, schedule, technical and quality perspective.
• Accountable for meeting customer's requirements and obtain the results of the project segment, unit or deliverable assigned.

Based out of Sydney, you will be a self-starter, entrepreneurial, creative problem solver, have a strong work ethic, be independent, but also able to work as part of a larger team and know how to navigate a corporate business (externally and internally).
