About the role:

In our newly created Procurement function; the Procurement Manager is responsible creating, driving and delivering the Procurement framework and improved service provider management information across the Technology & Telco cost categories.

As the Procurement Manager, you will work closely with our Head of Group Procurement to help deliver our procurement framework and be a part of a high-performance Procurement function to support procurement practices and deliver efficiencies across the business.

You will be responsible for:

• Category management relating to oOh!’s Technology and Telco spend
• Create and implement strategic & operational procurement sourcing strategies appropriate to Technology & Telco spend
• Partner with our Technology (operations and development), Digital Assets, Legal, Projects and other Business teams to deliver on strategic procurement initiatives
• Support the development of the overall procurement framework including supplier risk and performance management, procure to pay processes, management reporting and other procurement practices.
• Work with the rest of the Procurement function to contribute with your technical expertise and guidance in order to assist and build team capability
• Represent oOh! in supplier / service provider contract negotiations
• Form and maintain robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders be able to negotiate and communicate with influence
• Applying a commercial, pragmatic and risk mindset to all procurement activities
• Developing insights into technology and telco spend trends and research on market pricing intelligence.
• Actively deliver relevant actions in the program to deliver procurement led efficiencies across the business

About you:

As a naturally strong communicator who prides themselves on a result driven approach, you will be given autonomy to work on and deliver diverse and business critical projects.

In addition, you must also display:

• Accountancy and/or Procurement qualifications
• Proven success in Technology &/or Telco Cost Category Management
• Specific sourcing experience (Technology Services and Software specific)
• Sound understanding of technology managed service provision and supplier arrangements across Software, Application Development Network and IT Infrastructure
• Superior stakeholder management
• Relevant experience in Software as a Service RFP/ tendering activities
• Strong understanding of technology cost drivers and how to relate to external service provider pricing structures
• Strong time management and focus on delivery of business focused outcomes
• Robust Negotiation skills
• Proven experience in Commercial Financial Analysis and related management reporting to support decision making
• Ability to deliver budgeting & forecasting
• Proven experience in Service Provider Performance Management
