Procurement Systems Coordinator

Required to assist in the development & management of procurement & contract management systems of the Business Solutions team. Including quality assurance & overseeing the delivery of business & contract analysis, contract administration, & design and implementation of procurement & contract management applications & systems.

The Client is a Local Government entity that worked with other Local entities to provide and negotiate services within various sectors across Perth.

Description

To assist in the development & management of procurement & contract management systems of the Business Solutions team. It also includes quality assurance and overseeing the delivery of - business and contract analysis, contract administration, and design and implementation of procurement and contract management applications and systems. Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the operation of the client's adopted procurement & contract management systems.
  • Supervise the currency of contract information in the client's adopted procurement systems.

  • Suggest, implement and QA initiatives for improvement to procurement systems.

Undertake key projects related to the work undertaken by an internal team. For this instance, this will include:

  • Implementation of Contract Management System

  • Gap analysis between new CMS and previous system

  • Development of scope for supplier reporting portal

  • Implementation of supplier reporting portal

Profile

The successful candidate will need to have exposure in the following:

  • High degree of computer literacy, particularly word processing and spreadsheet functions to prepare reports and QA analysis and data.
  • Demonstrated experience in procurement systems, business reports and analytics, and documentation.

  • Time management skills. Proven organisational ability and capacity to work under pressure.

  • Demonstrated experience in procurement related activities, including contract planning, formation, evaluation, negotiation, contract award, contract administration and contract management (DESIRABLE)

  • Sound negotiation & Good interpersonal skills with the proven ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders across the business and various sectors the client works in.

  • Being able to identify risks and issues and providing a solution for them with problem solving, reseach, analytical and conceptual skills.
