About the Role
As the Business Project Deliver Manager, you will manage and deliver a range of project that aim to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and accountability of the business. You will work on a variety of projects that support the needs of the business

Responsibilities

• Manage the planning and delivery of highly complex and large projects
• Identify inter-dependencies and leverage resources to maximise efficiencies and achieve required organisation outcomes
• Lead all aspects of project development and implementation across business projects, including preparing, managing and monitoring project plans
• Be responsible for a caseload to deliver more services
• Lead and establish appropriate processes, identifying, allocating and managing resources, and meeting reporting requirements, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget and within guidelines
• Lead and manage a small project team, to deliver all key project/s milestones and outcomes
• Be highly skilled at managing stakeholder relationships to deliver outcomes through effective communication, negotiation and issues management
• Problem solve and provide advice and information to stakeholders on emerging project issues and present recommendations to support project delivery in line with established plans and policy objectives

Experience

• Demonstrated experience as a Business Project Manager or Project Delivery Manager
• Must have experience within the Government Sector
• Experienced with formal project management techniques
• Experience delivering business based projects (not IT)
• Previous experience and project management knowledge within a delivery context
• Must be delivery focussed and have a business centric approach
• Demonstrable and comprehensive management experience in providing leadership
• Demonstrable experience of the assimilation of complex business requirements and translating them into solutions.
• Good financial management experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organisation.
