Our Client is a large well known Australian Telecommunication Organisation, Seeking the expertise of a Security Consultant.

As a Security consultant, the areas you will cover are risk-based application of global security frameworks such as NIST, ISO27000, PCI. In addition, you will apply specific industry, legislative and regulatory local standards across all security domains to create a valuable security outcome for each customer's specific situation.

Key Accountabilities:

• Management and delivery of multiple engagements by providing customer engagement, project governance and subject matter expertise.
• 80% of the role will be project delivery and ~ 20% will involve innovation / IP development, building pipeline and presales.
• Specialist security experience in one or more industries or segments coupled with willingness to build strong analytical & consultative skills. Pre-sales and security architecture exposure and experience will be well respected.
• Assist the sales teams to qualify, build and close opportunities while leveraging consulting skills to deliver successful outcomes to clients. This also includes assisting the Melbourne account team in recognising opportunities for building pipeline and accelerating sales.
• Provide quality assurance for all engagement deliverables.
• Deliver projects profitably while creating high customer advocacy.
• Build client references through delivery excellence.

Mandatory

• Graduate or post graduate qualifications (or equivalent industry professional experience) in relevant fields such as information technology, engineering or computer science with substantial experience in information security and applications.
• People management skills with extensive experience in managing consultants across multiple engagements.
• Must be a subject matter expert who has recently delivered to clients in enterprise networks
• Experience with industry/enterprise consulting and delivery.

Desired

• Previous experience with ICT consultancy. This includes the following:
• Previous experience in leading consulting teams which deliver successful outcomes for customers
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders - internal and external customers
• Experience in developing customer consulting presentations
• Experience with guiding and directing consultants against required client outcomes
• Strong knowledge of security best practice as it applies to enterprise network and security infrastructure.
