The AV Technologies that we specialise in include display, control, distribution & communication systems such as video walls, digital signage, AV & control systems n lecture theatres, boardrooms, video conferencing, training rooms, huddle spaces, retail, public spaces (airports, train stations, hospitals, universities etc.). ENGIE AV Technologies are looking for a Senior Project Manager - AV with mid to large project construction experience to join our Brisbane team.

The Role
The successful candidate will have existing technical expertise, solid project management skills, client and people management skills to ensure that projects come in on time and on budget.

Some of the responsibilities will include:

  • Professional project management on & off site
  • Engagement with key project stakeholders
  • Management & supervision of installation staff
  • Advanced project & resource planning using MS Project
  • Site audits and OHS risk assessment
  • Reading and understanding project tender & quotation documents and generating clear AV project scopes for each project
  • Management of project timelines, budgets and risk using professional project management methodology to provide highest quality outcomes for all projects
  • Management of project scope and identification and documentation of all project variations
  • Professional project communications and understanding of project management methodology and software (MS Project)
  • Management of rectification of system defects
  • Full responsibility for successful project outcomes
  • Project status reporting to management at regular weekly meetings
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to manage large & complex Audio-Visual projects
  • National travel as we expand and take on major interstate projects
  • Other duties as required.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 5+ years proven experience as a Project Manager or equivalent in the Audio-Visual Industry
  • Demonstrate experience of delivering large complex projects - including construction site projects
  • Experience managing installation teams, timelines, schedules, budgets and liaising with customers
  • Proficient in MS Office and project management software
  • High level professional communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Formal qualifications preferred however, applicants with prior experience and a working knowledge of project management methodologies will be considered.
