Senior Project Manager (Agile)

Talenza has been engaged to source a Senior Agile Project Manager for a leading, international financial services organisation on a permanent basis.

This is a newly created position and the mandate has been created as part of a 5 year IT modernisation and Cloud group migration Global road-map.The purpose of the role is to manage and deliver projects across the global transformation office.

Other Role Insights

• Ensure complex projects are successfully planned, resourced, governed, risk mitigated and reported against the agreed phases of the project's lifecycle.
• The Senior Project Manager will ensure effective delivery of project plans to meet clear strategic outcomes, aligned with the Project Directors vision and strategy.
• Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency across the businesses.

Background/ Expertise

• 8 + years' experience in project management.
• Experience of working strategically with senior stakeholders across large global corporations.
• Broad financial services experience with strong understanding of insurance processes and technology in a global context.
• Professional qualifications in project management (e.g. Agile, PRINCE2, IPMA Level D2 (or equivalent.) Scrum Master Certification, SAFE Certification
• Experience of varied project management disciplines (e.g. agile.)
• Experience in using Jira, Project Online, PowerBI and Apptio
