About this opportunity:
The Senior Security Analyst is responsible for proactively coordinating MTIA's cyber security profile, leveraging as appropriate from Department and WoVG frameworks and artefacts to directly support MTIA's mission. MTIA has a significant portfolio of business enabling projects that will uplift and replacement systems over the next three years. This role provides key cybersecurity capability across Major Transport Infrastructure Authority (MTIA) ensuring projects and changes meet baseline security requirements in compliance with security policy and standards.
In alignment with and leveraging Department directives ensure MTIA appropriately implements VPDSF and addresses gaps identified in the cybersecurity audit. This will be achieved by coordinating cyber security and resilience considerations throughout information systems lifecycles. As the security subject matter expert (SME), provide advice on, the selection, design, justification, implementation and operation of information security controls and management strategies to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, availability, and compliance of information systems. The function will also provide support and leadership in the planning and implementation of organisation wide secure processes and procedures.
The Senior Security Analyst will develop strategies for ensuring both the physical and digital security of systems are fit for purpose, current and correctly implemented. They will also review new business proposals and provide SME advice on security risks and issues.
