We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to manage software projects for electronic systems for international automotive customers on OEM level.

Description

As an experienced Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Manage software projects for electronic systems to deliver projects on time, budget and quality for international customers on OEM level
• Deliver on technical leadership across engineering disciplines such as design, integration, test and manufacturing
• Develop embedded software or high-level software, create software specifications, plans and related documentation
• Liaise with internal and external peers and stakeholders
• Re-scope and debug software if required
• Support test engineers to develop software test plans
• Create embedded software specifications and plans including Software Requirements Specifications (SRS), Software Development Plans (SDP), diagnostic and programming documentation, and other documentation relating to embedded software
• Strong working knowledge of embedded C including software component development across multiple architectural layers
• Other tasks and responsibilities required to fulfil the requirements of the role

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

• Degree in any relevant field
• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the Automotive Industry
• Strong knowledge of embedded C
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility to travel as required
