The Systems Administrator’s role will involve the installation, operation, monitoring and maintenance of all internal company systems. This individual will operate and maintain highly-secure, high-performance and robust environments, as well as, manage the provision of 24x7 support for Production systems. This individual reports to the Manager, IT Infrastructure and Security based in the US headquarters and will also have a local liaison in the AU office. This individual will be part of a team responsible for all corporate information systems including meeting availability, security, privacy, and performance requirements including support of custom-developed and third-party packaged software, hardware, network, storage, and virtualization in a growing global infrastructure.

  • Design, build, maintain, and monitor corporate computer & network systems.
  • Deploy and maintain IT asset management including hardware/software procurement through local Managed Services Provider.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, as needed.
  • Provide basic end-user training on Keypath core technologies.
  • Manage day-to-day Tier 1/Tier 2 server operations and Help Desk requests.
  • Perform configuration, administration and support of custom-developed and third-party packaged software including but not limited to Office 365, MSFT Dynamics CRM and Genesys Purecloud.
  • Implement IT Infrastructure initiatives and enhancements using best practice guidelines.
  • Management and maintenance of backup and recovery plans and processes.
  • Supervise the local Managed Services Provider ensuring SLA metrics are consistently met.

Education: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or 5 years of equivalent work experience.

Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in operational, maintenance, monitoring, and development of company LAN/WLAN/WAN, including server hardware, operating systems and network administration tools.
  • 5+ years’ experience networking, Windows, web servers, virtualization, cloud computing, capacity planning, security, and problem solving.
  • 5+ years’ experience with Microsoft servers and desktop environments, including Windows 2012/2016 and Active Directory/Azure Active Directory.
  • 3+ years’ experience with Office 365 administration.
  • 2+ years’ experience with networking hardware (i.e. Cisco Meraki, Juniper).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Skype and Teams.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM a plus.
  • Experience with Genesys/PureCloud or other hosted contact center solutions a plus.
  • Experience with VMware vSphere a plus.
  • Basic understanding of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library).

  • An understanding of the Higher Education and Post-Secondary Education sector, including working for a Higher Education Institution.
