Your new role

This organisation are looking for a new addition to their Melbourne team to help maintain critical ICT Infrastructure as well as get involved in various projects.

You will be:

• Resolving escalated incidents as they arise

• Mentoring junior staff
• Planning and scheduling pre-emptive maintenance work
• Maintaining critical ICT Infrastructure
• Training and upskilling

  What you'll need to succeed

• A good understanding of networking concepts such as IP addressing, VLANs, DNS and DHCP
• Experience configuring routers, switches and other network devices
• Experience administering server operating systems (Windows Server)
• Experience administering a virtualised server environment, notably VMWare
• Experience scripting languages such as PowerShell
• Knowledge of cloud technologies
• Experience with storage technologies such as SAN, NAS and Software Defined Storage
• Resilient under pressure and able to work independently
• 3+ years’ experience working in an enterprise IT environment in a similar role
