An opportunity exists for a Technical Components Administrator to join our Information Services team based in Beverley. Reporting to the Senior Technical Component Administrator, this position is responsible for providing hardware and software support and user training which meets user and business requirements.
Responsibilities
Your duties in the role will be to:
- Respond to user inquires according to Help Desk procedures, providing support across a range of hardware and software products
- Identify problems which require additional expertise and take appropriate action including referring problems requiring high level support
- Communicate to users the progress of inquiries from receipt to closure
- Advise users about Help Desk operational and support facilities and processes
- Identifying and advising Manager Information Systems of recurrent user inquiries
- Provide user training on hardware and software applications used at Toro
- Provide regular updates to PC users on new or upgraded hardware and software
Skills & Experience
You must possess:
- 2 years’ experience in a similar IT role
- SAP experience is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to establish effective business relationships with internal and external partners
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills are essential
- A highly organized, flexible and proactive approach to the work environment
- The ability to work independently, with minimal day to day instructions or as part of a team
- Acceptance of a flexible work environment and the ability to respond to continual changing of priorities
