Technology Solutions Consultant

Your Responsibilities: a bit about you

The Technology Solutions Consultant at Datarati plays a crucial role in leading the Technology Team internationally (Australia and India) and being the senior technical point of contact for Datarati’s customers. The Technology Solutions Consultant also plays a key role with the Head of CX and Head of Delivery to co-ordinate the resources needed to service projects, builds strategic operational plans and balances the expectations of customers with the execution of project work on each customer account. You will be responsible for the end-to-end technical delivery by your Technology Practice Leads and/or Solution Architects who report directly to you from discovery, design, build, test, to deploy, and be accountable for the quality of solution before it is presented to the customer. This role collaborates with Customer Experience Team, Delivery Team, Operations Team, Sales Team, as well as prospective and existing customers. Meeting with C-level, Director-level, management-level and user-level customer contacts, the Solution Architect must be able to easily adapt to each type of conversation, whether it’s strategic and high-level, or highly detailed and technical.

As the Technology Solutions Consultant, reporting into the General Manager, you will have full ownership to hire, train, and develop your team members; Technology Practice Leads, Solution Architects, Technical Architects and Marketing Automation Specialists, and Graduate/Junior position roles.

The highly respected role of the Technology Practice Lead is seen as the voice of reason (and realism), and generally focuses on the following key areas:

  • Team Management & Training: You will be responsible for managing, training, and developing the Technology Members and assisting in helping all team members to build their skills and knowledge of the technologies that Datarati services in.
  • Solution Design: Work closely with business stakeholders and technical resources to uncover technical challenges and goals relating to digital marketing, to then develop a solution and roadmap for the success of the customer.
  • Technical Execution: Work closely with all the local Sprint Teams (Solution Architects, Technical Architects, Marketing Automation Specialists) to execute the technical solution.
  • Test: Any technical solution delivered to the client is the responsibility of the Solution Architect, and ultimately the Head of Technology, hence they will be responsible for ensuring that full end-to-end testing is done before presenting to customers for UAT.
  • Live on the Bleeding Edge: Stay up-to-date on product development and roadmap, industry trends, and industry news and provide these insights on a regular basis to customers. As the most senior member in the Technology Team, your team will look to you for the latest and greatest in the CRM & Marketing Automation industry (especially Salesforce) and you may be asked to present at industry events or conferences.
