We are seeking a Transition Vendor Manager for the transition work for the MoBR project for a period of 6 months with an opportunity for extension.
As a Transition/Vendor Manager, you will contribute to the work of the Information Technology team by:
- Develop, establish, implement, and enforce supplier and outsourcer guidelines, obligations, and service level agreements to the organisation through vendor governance forums.
- Manage outward communication to vendors to facilitate understanding and awareness of organisational strategic direction, changes and challenges
- Manage the interaction between vendors and internal IT Managers to provide adequate visibility of interdependent initiatives and programs
- Develop and implement a Service Management plan, Governance structure and MOU between various Government agencies.
- Working with operational managers and team leaders to identify, develop and deliver on specific communications requirements.
- Ensuring transition documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Take accountability for the Transition of new or changed services into BAU
- Own service transition processes and ensure these are communicated and followed throughout the IT function.
- Develop a Registry Service Catalogue and RACI between IT and the Registry Business
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Extensive experience in the IT industry in Service Delivery or Operations.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in ITIL change and Release management in a large-scale and diverse environment.
- ITIL V3 certification (RCV preferred).
- Solid understanding of Project Management methodologies and frameworks. Eg. Agile
- Operational experience in change, release and deployment.
